Our Silent Auction "Wish List" needs your help!
We still need your help even though our collection of
Silent Auction items is growing nicely. With only 1 week left to catalog and assemble the packages, here's how
YOU can help:
1 - Deliver your finished baskets or individual items to the Marist office ASAP!
2 - Donate empty LARGE baskets, bowls, buckets, trays or containers that we could use to assemble packages that we already have. Please bring them to the office ASAP.
3 - Stumped for ideas? We know that we have some really fun and creative members in our Marist community who are up to the challenge of creating some additional baskets. The following is a list of ideas for you to pick from:
· "Meow Mix" Cat Basket – Use the cat basket to include treats, little bitty catnip mice, feather toys, a sparkly collar with a tinkly bell, a small brush, KITTEN magazine
· "Slugs & Snails & Puppy Dog Tails” Little Guy Basket – mitt, Tonka toys, socks, books, band-aids!
· "Two Thumbs Up" Movie Basket – movies, popcorn, blanket, candy bars, licorice, six pack of Pepsi, movie passes, 3D glasses
· "Light Up Your Life" Candle Basket – candles, lighters, potpourri, holders, votives
· "Down 'N Dirty" Soap Basket – Soaps, loofas, sponges, bubble bath, inflatable pillow, bath beads
· "Know When To Fold 'Em" Poker Basket – chips, cards, snacks, dice
· "Who Done It?" Board Game Basket – Clue, Scrabble, Monopoly, Dominoes)
· "Star Spangled Banner" 4th of July Basket – Red White and Blue cups, plates, platters, vase, candles, bunting, flags, Gift Card for Market of Choice for Buns, Wieners, Burgers, Flowers
· "The Writer's Block" Stationery/Cards Basket – Note cards, envelopes, pens, paper, stamps
Or are you clever enough to come up with this one:
· "When Hell Freezes Over" ???
Also, Bi-Mart has very generously donated over $4000 worth of appliances. If you have a cookbook, for instance, that needs a Crockpot or chopper or blender or mixer, we've got it to add to your basket.
