Silent Auction
To all our Marist families and friends,

The 2011 Marist Auction is Saturday, May 14. The theme this year is Marist 40th Anniversary: Be True To Your School. Some of you have been attending for years, and some will be experiencing it for the first time. Either way, it is always a fun night for the Marist community. As SILENT AUCTION chair, I am asking to have themed baskets put together for the auction. If you have done this before, thank you!! You know that we like to have baskets full of goodies and surprises to "rally" the bidders.

If you are a newcomer and/or are not sure what type of basket to put together, please contact me. I can answer your questions, make suggestions and/or pair you with someone who wants to donate a basket.

At right is a list of basket ideas. Below are some answers to frequently asked questions:

•  Yes, we can help you with a basket idea.
•  No, you do not have to keep to the "school" theme for baskets.
•  Yes, you can do a basket with your friends.
•  No, you do not need to spend a fortune to put a basket together.
•  Yes, we would love to have the basket come to us contained.
•  No, we will not turn down gift certificates or single items.
•  Yes, we are having fun with this and hope you will too!!
•  No, you do not need to use a basket. Trays, bowls, pans...be creative.
