We Are One, always….
…. even in difficult times. Perhaps most especially in difficult times! While we can’t gather in the gym and head across to the AC in a loud, noisy, joyful crowd (yet) we can still Zoom or Microsoft Meeting or sit 6 ft. apart in our yards on May 30. So put together your table of 10 (virtually), order a dinner from Billy’s, make one of the signature drinks and email us your photo to post on Facebook. Capture the excitement of The Marist Olympiad by dressing as an Olympic athlete (curling anyone?), spectators from your favorite country or sit back and relax in your favorite PJ’s as you get set to bid from the comfort of your home! Above all, please wear what you like best for an evening of fun and relaxed style! How can I volunteer? Volunteering looks a bit different this year, but we still need you! If you are able to help pick up or deliver packages before and after the auction, write personal notes or make personal calls of thanks, we welcome your talents. We need you! Your gift of time makes the event happen. Please reach out to Katie Underwood 541-284-7506 if you are interested in learning more about how you can get involved! How can I donate to the Auction? It’s simple! Download our Auction Donation form and complete the required information, attach the form to your donated item and bring it to Marist on May 4 - 5. If you need us to pick up your donation, call Katie Underwood 541-284-7506 to make arrangements. What can I donate to the Auction? We are looking for a wide array of NEW items for both Silent and Live portions of the auction. Silent Auction items range from gift certificates for stores/restaurants and some services, to themed baskets or events or weekend getaways (yes, eventually we’ll be able to travel again!). Live Auction donations range from financial support to help underwrite packages to vacation homes, airline miles, tickets to major sporting or entertainment events, and group dinners or activities. If you have a unique idea or item you are interested in donating please contact Katie Underwood 541-284-7506. What is the deadline to donate? For Silent, please bring your donation and completed donation form to Marist for curbside dropoff May 4-5. If you need us to pick up your donation, call Katie Underwood 541-284-7506 to make arrangements. The Live Auction Packages are complete, but if you'd like to support the Live Auction through underwriting, please contact Caryn Kimble. What do Auction proceeds support? Auction proceeds sustain the vital programs and activities of Marist Catholic High School. Funding from the auction supports technology enhancements, faith formation and retreats, 50+ athletic and extracurricular opportunities, maintenance and upgrades of our facilities, as well as tuition assistance and ongoing professional development and training for our stellar faculty. With funding from the auction, Marist continues to ensure a quality Catholic high school education for every student we serve. On behalf of all Marist Spartans, thank you! |
